The good news, Creepy Crawlers are back on the store shelves! I bought one of the new mold packs at Target tonight.

The bad news, is Jakk's Pacific may have solved the problem of some mold packs selling slowly by ramdomly packing 2 molds in the mold packs.

The good news, the mold packs have a clear window so you can see at least one of the molds. Each pack has 2 molds, 2 .7 oz bottles of goop and one 6.4g goopFx, and 2 detailing tips.

The bad news, so far nothing new. my mold pack had mold 18 tarantula, and mold 69, a scorpion and a fly, both with seperate eyes, I think this was from the Bug-eyed brigade set. At least the detail was crisp on mold 69, and so-so on 18.

The good news, the new oven looked really cool!

The bad news, I really should wait till the next paycheck to buy the oven set, another two weeks! Also so far no goop packs on the shelf.

Checked out a couple more stores and noticed that Flying Colors is a division of Jakk's Pacific, so it is made by the same company. These are just the looooooong awaited mold sets by them, how long where the three mold sets on the shelves without new releases? Two years? More? Also at each store I have seen the same molds displayed in the box window, so the molds may not be as randomly packed as I feared. Now we just need to start a database on which molds are in which boxes.

Thanks for letting us know about these Bill!

I checked a couple Targets, and one had the oven but no molds or goop. Another store had 2 mold packs but nothing else. Another one had nothing. I like the new "window box" mold packs. I bought one, because I could see a NEW mold in the window! It is mold #164, which has 2 lizards on it. The other mold is #162, which has 2 snakes, and one of them has 2 heads! Very cool molds, with nice detail.

No copyright or dates on the molds though. Now I'm wondering if the new oven contains 2 new molds, like their last re-make did?

If anyone else finds some other new molds, please post here.

I'll be posting pictures of the new molds later this week on my web site.

FWIW, I found the new mold packs ($7.99) and ovens ($19.99) the local Target. Like John I found the pack with two new molds. I assume these are repackaged ToyMax molds because the other packs I saw had bug-eyed brigade, bugs or giant bugs molds in them, which were all ToyMax molds.

I'd like to find out what's in the oven set but don't really want to drop $19.95 on it.

I purchased one of the new ovens. There were 2 re-run molds in it. Giant fly and small bugs.

It's puzzling why there are 2 new molds in one of the mold packs along with the re-run mold packs. If these 2 aren't new ones, then they might be something that never got released. I seem to remember some lizard molds in one of the old Toymax product catalogs.

I agree, it's strange. I wonder if they Jakk's "inherited" some old stock when they bought ToyMax out and they've just been rolling that out... and some new lines initially (SpongeBob, Hello Kitty, original oven set).

The only lizard molds I remember off the top of my head are the Super Oven mold and a 3-D mold.

This picture shows a Toymax series that never (as far as I know) got produced. The lizard at the bottom looks very similar to the new Jakks mold. But the snake is not the same. Well maybe the people at Jakks were looking through the old archives of what didn't get released, and came up with lizards and snakes. Who knows. I never get anything but generic unhelpful responses when I write to Jakks. Toymax customer service was 1000% better.

I've seen the molds and ovens at both Walmart and Toys R Us.
Checked back today at Toys R Us and they added Goop 3-packs for sale.
(No price tag on the package or shelf. I didn't think to run a pack under the
scanner.) Interestingly, it looks like they've dropped the whole "cooks
2X faster" stuff.

I found another new mold. It's a worms mold. That makes 3 new ones so far. #'s 160, 162 and 164. I put pics up on my web site (CreepyFun.com)
